Our vision

“We hold the vision that the UK will be a welcoming place of safety for all and proud to offer sanctuary to people fleeing violence and persecution.” (City of Sanctuary UK 2017)

Our priorities

• Working with local organisations so that they achieve a ‘Place of Sanctuary’ status
• Promoting awareness about those seeking sanctuary
• Acting as a communication link between local groups who share our vision
• Co-ordinating events in Chester during refugee week
